Passionate about technology and the arts since my youth, I embarked on a journey from a farm in East Texas to the vibrant city of Austin, TX, seeking a community of motivated individuals and a defined career path.In 2016, I joined an Advertising firm contracted by TXDoT in an entry-level administrative role. Eager to absorb industry knowledge, I proactively took on additional responsibilities, leading to a promotion and the commencement of my sales career. This period was marked by travel, logo design, and collaborating with small businesses to boost their revenue—a truly exhilarating and fulfilling chapter.Seeking deeper involvement in the Software world, I joined an early-stage FinTech startup. Under the mentorship of Austin's top sales leaders, I gained structured sales experience. Amidst the challenges of the Pandemic, I took a hiatus to pursue a 3D modeling/rigging degree and secured an internship at Activision/Blizzard/King on the pre-release of their largest FPS game.Upon completing my contract, I returned to the software company that kickstarted my journey. Starting as a Sales Trainer, I transitioned to a fully-remote role on the Inbound Sales Team. Driven by a desire to expand my SaaS knowledge, I pivoted to the Customer Success side and currently thrive in my role as a Customer Retention Specialist.I am grateful for a rewarding career that allows me to blend my passions.
