I am a user experience designer and researcher who is passionate about designing intuitive, meaningful and impactful products for the healthcare industry. I currently work in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Human Factors and User Experience group at Medtronic designing physician and patient facing products.I graduated with Bachelor's degrees in Product Design and Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2019. Originally pursuing a career in engineering, I discovered my passion in solving challenging problems by understanding user behavior and creating products based on these findings. Utilizing my knowledge on how products are built from my engineering classes, I was able to create products that were not only intuitive but also functional. I discovered my passion for the healthcare industry after doing my senior engineering project with a medical device company and realizing the need for human centered design work to create intuitive products for those who use them everyday. This project is highlighted in my portfolio that is linked below along with other projects.I hope to continue my education in design, especially in accessibility design in the healthcare industry.
