The Grants and Communications Specialist works in two key, related priority areas that support MCF’s mission.Maintain MCF’s grants systems, technologies and communications:• Complete the grant application intake, setup, award, due diligence, and payment processes for MCF pooled funds and other grant awards, including data entry as needed in MCF’s grantmaking software.• Ensure incoming grants are tracked, deadlines are met, and reports are completed, including data entry as needed in MCF’s grantseeking software.• Maintain MCF’s Common Grant Application, including ensuring regular updates, member outreach, and promotion with grantmaking software platforms that are commonly used by MCF members.• Coordinate the tracking and intake of reports for outgoing and incoming grants.• Administer the grant management system including system setup and configuration for internal and external users, data management projects, and configuration of reports and correspondence templates.• Support grant decision-making processes and respond to inquiries from the community, grantees, staff, and members regarding MCF’s grantmaking. Support internal and external marketing and communications efforts:• Write, edit and/or design internal and external communications through email, online, social media, print, and other electronic communications and branding.• Coordinate communications efforts related to educational trainings, briefings, conferences, board meetings, committee meetings, and network meetings.• Monitor and provide reports on website, email, and social media analytics, and other marketing and communication goals.• Utilize communications strategies to advance MCF’s goals around equity and anti-racism.• Promote MCF membership and programs to achieve maximum participation.• Deliver timely, high quality responses to member requests and inquiries and oversee info@mcf.org.• Manage MailChimp subscription and data.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the development of communications that create consistent, positive and relevant experiences for all Wilder stakeholders.
