• Partners with the Assistant Director to design and plan outdoor activities and trips, including coordinating trip logistics, transportation, equipment, permits, and accommodations.• Leads outdoor excursions in hiking, camping, climbing, water sports, and all outdoor activities.• Fosters a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and personal growth among participants.• Prioritizes participant safety by following established safety protocols and preparing for potential emergencies.• Maintains certifications like Wilderness FirstAid and CPR to ensure a safe experience.• Promotes Leave No Trace principles and advocates for responsible outdoor practices to encourage environmental respect.• Communicates trip details, itineraries, and safety guidelines effectively to participants.• Collaborates with the OAR marketing team to promote trips through social media and campus networks.• Works with OAR teams and other campus organizations to create a cohesive outdoor community at LMU.
