Managing two distinct teams now: SEO and MarTech.

I work with the stakeholders of this non-profit to design a brochure website and blog. I’ve also helped out with IT services e.g. email and hosting, and consulted with them on online marketing initiatives. Elohee is run by a beautiful group of people with a mission to help people reconnect with nature and ourselves. I’m honored to work with them.

Pegg was born out of the mission to deepen human connection through fun. We raised a seed round and built a team: software architect, engineer, designer, and hilarious content guru. We spent a couple years iterating on social games that inspired users to form a deeper relationship with each other.

What began as a dream turned into a side-project. Then after a small seed investment became a company. Our mission was to end data exploitation. We developed a prototype architecture for decentralized apps and a visualization front-end for this new web of user data. After a move to San Francisco, I started Secure Open Social meetup group and found a community of like-minded technologists who were actively working on this problem. Eventually it became evident that in order to solve the data problem we had to first solve a problem that an average user cares about.

Instrumental in a complete overhaul of our IT systems from the network infrastructure (under the tutelage of our network systems architect) to the application layers that touched end users. I transitioned to leading the redevelopment of our client-facing websites and services. Designed and lead the Web Marketing department with two direct reports. Developed a blog program, built an extensive customer portal, and managed marketing campaigns and SEO. Our efforts helped double revenue in the years leading up to the company’s acquisition.I also served on the Board of Directors. I contributed to business strategy discussions, and helped implement company-wide initiatives.
