 Lead for all DSS-SOC program certification for systems used by Special Operations Forces (SOF) and diver operations on those submarines designated by the US Navy Lead for tasks and projects on various ship systems to support SOF and diver operations, including new and updated designs, system capability analysis, and life-cycle and maintenance documentation as well as scope reduction for cost savings for construction, certification, and life-cycle maintenance. Head liaison for design and Engineering products for VIRGINIA Class ships in new construction and post-delivery availabilities; main point of contact for the delivery of USS HAWAII, USS NEW HAMPSHIRE, USS NEW MEXICO, USS MISSISSIPPI, and USS NORTH DAKOTA.

 Supported the VIRGINIA Class External Structures design, manufacturing, and installation; supported the technical resolution of issues with non-metallic components such as composites and hull treatments and coatings Construction Engineering support for various projects including:o Offsite Engineering support for schedule-critical components for VIRGINIA Class composite fairings – tasks included oversight in manufacturing to meet contract and design requirements and specifications, troubleshooting during problematic operations, and reviewing supplier work and process qualityo Offsite Engineering support for superstructure for SSGN Conversion Class – functioned as Lead Engineer and Technical Expert to ensure product quality, on-time execution, and contract adherence, by providing guidance to the supplier and local tradesmen Supported various ship alterations for 688 Class ships – Lead Engineer for manufacturing of structural foundations, electrical panels and electrical cables Cognizant Engineer for coating and preservation requirements and systems to support new construction and overhaul maintenance availabilities, including a six-month shipyard rotation
