My role grew to managing the Software, Security & Datacenter Services SBUs. My primary role was to own and manage the C-suite of a different clientele base. Responsible for maintaining profitability through managing the cost structure and ensuring YoY revenue growth of the SBUs. Co-lead work streams including strategy development, growth strategies, performance monitoring for key strategic indicators, and opportunity evaluations with the executive teams. I successfully delivered various key projects to our clients.

Extension of the role of Cyber Security Specialist to include responsibility for managing the implementation, optimization & governance of business processes in the Cyber Security Services & Datacenter Operations SBU. Provides Business and Technical Advisory services to clients. Responsible for strategic partnerships development for security related OEMs namely IBM, Fortinet, BeyondTrust, Kaspersky and Symantec among others. Provide strategic advise across various IS Projects and Programs. Develop architectural artifacts including but not limited to roadmaps, current and future state designs, DFDs, high level solution designs and security artifacts. Lead technical reviews of production systems. Accountable for all aspects of technical service delivery. Technical knowledge of various frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and TOGAF.

Responsible for information security policies creation and security programmes implementation. Roles included data centre security and physical access management, preparing RFPs to drive value to Kenac customers, product/solution demos to drive business sales & provide security implementation advice. Lead architecture development of low level designs and conduct deployments of security solutions such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, PAM, IAM, EDR, DLP, EPP and DAM. Technical knowledge of international security standards such as ISO/IEC27001, ISO27002, NIST, PCI/DSS and OWASP Top 10.

Manage internal systems security – research and implement new security controls for all internal systems. Conducting Vulnerability Assessment & Technical Assessment exercises both at Kenac and at clients’ sites and recommend resolutions for risky vulnerabilities. Provide support for DAM, EPP, PAM and SIEM deployments at client sites. Performance monitoring of key infrastructure.

Real-time monitoring and reviews of IPS and IDS reports and raise tickets for abnormal behavior noticed. Deployment of Symantec endpoint encryption server and agents across 1,500 devices within the organization’s various departments.
