About August Grappin

Since February 2019, I have applied an analytical and organized mind to film and television music publishing administration. Given that my exact position did not exist before I stepped into it, I was given free reign to design the organizational database for a large number of high-, medium-, and low-volume clientele. In a matter of months, I built a new database and a tracking system to more easily review and manage statuses on multiple thousands of television series and film productions. This included numerous elements of the music publishing process, including songwriter royalty agreements, soundtrack recordings, and multi-territory version differences.I have also strengthened my interpersonal skill set, including team workload management, training, and interviewing. My team consists of eight full-time employees, with myself being on the second highest tier of four in the organizational chart, as well as a varying number of temporary employees as projects require them. In previous roles, I have also built and updated Excel reports for use in streamlining business operations and resolving customer issues. I doubled as a low-tier manager, closely monitoring agent productivity and workload in real-time.
