About Oluwasina Augustina A.

Oluwasina (SHEENA) Augustina Aderiye has completed her undergraduate degree in Child Development at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, and will be pursuing her Master's in Teaching in the Fall at the University of Toronto. An aspiring educator, Oluwasina's most important belief is to allow all students the opportunity to thrive in the classroom, no matter of disability or background. Oluwasina is quite shy but has a bubbly enough personality to interact with children in the classroom and with individuals within her community. Her volunteer and job positions have always reflected being in environments with learning, leadership, and collaborating with individuals and children. She also loves jazz music, bunnies, cats and stationary. Oluwasina has already had experience in the classroom, through her placements during the course of her degree. She has enjoyed being able to learn and interact with children through Kindergarten and Primary levels. Oluwasina's main interest is the psychological well-being of children and the effects it has on the development of her students as her main philosophy in education is that mental health and any life factors is the main foundation of the academic and developmental success of every student.
