With about 20 years of experience in assurance and finance, I am a strategic and managerial leader who advises and supports governments, international, non-profit and private sector organizations on financial management, sustainable and impact investment, business process improvement, assurance, governance and risk management. I have in-depth knowledge and expertise of Africa, Asia and Europe markets, where I have led projects in complex and dynamic settings, including managing PwC’s biggest portfolio in Africa. I have also built strong relationships and debriefed business and political leaders including Heads of State in over 30 countries, and have presented at conferences on topics related to my field of expertise. Currently, I work with The Global Fund, where I ensure the effective and efficient use of funds to achieve the organization’s mission and goals. Prior to joining the Global Fund, I was with PwC, where I provided assurance, financial management, and advisory services to public and private sector organisations, including listed companies. I also serve on the Board of organizations with global footprint, such as the Maxim Nyansa Foundation, which won the Fire Africa Award 2019 for its digital transformation in Africa, and ASK - All Special Kids, which supports children with learning differences. I co-founded the African Professionals Network in Switzerland, an organization that fosters productive networking, partnerships, and community engagement among Africans and people of African descent in Switzerland. I am a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Forensic Auditor with MBA from the University of Oxford. I am passionate about sustainable and impact investing and making a positive difference in the world.
