Augustine Atiah has 20 years experience in the coordination and management of development projects across a wide spectrum of areas including local government and urban development, transport sector and policy coordination. He currently works for UNICEF Ghana Country Office as the Implementing Partnership Management Specialist. He provides guidance to the Ghana Country Office on all Implementing Partnership formulation and management, all issues on HACT assurance including analysis, monitoring and reporting, quality assurance and capacity building for both Implementing Partners and Staff of Ghana Country Office. He also handles risk management including HACT and SEA risk. He leads the roll-out of digital tools on IPM including the modules of eTools (Field monitoring, ePD, PRP) and all issues on UNPP. He did a stretch assignment with UNICEF Togo Country Office, Lome from December 2022 to March 2023. He supported the TCO in HACT Assurance, capacity building and management of SEA risk.For almost twelve (12) continuous years, he worked for the Agence Française De Développement (AFD) in Accra, Ghana as a Project Officer in charge of urban development, local government projects, the transport sector and support to decentralization/public policy formulation in Ghana. He has also coordinated the Development Partners Group working on the decentralization sector in Ghana and funding the District Development Facility in Ghana namely AFD, Canada (formerly CIDA), DANIDA and KFW which was latter joined by SECO. He has previously worked as the Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the USAID West Africa Trade Hub under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) of the U.S.A, working to promote trade and investment with the private sector in West Africa and a Finance and Operations Manager for the MSH/SEAM Ghana Project.
