Developed a 15 member project committee to manage the work of the project.2. Wrote a five year strategic plan for the project in 2004.3. Trained community members in resource mobilization and developed a project proposal which was submitted to CHAZ and Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) in 2004.4. Facilitated collection of local resources within the church to support 20 orphans and vulnerable children and seven widows who were church members (for school requirements and with small capital to start businesses).5. ZMK 2,000,000 (US$ 570) given to seven widows to start a chicken rearing project which they identified themselves. In the same year ZMK 1,000,000 (US$ 285) given to 20 OVC to start a small business identified by themselves.6. As a result of increased external support from Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia, Norwegian Church Aid, ECR and others, 200 OVC are supported with uniforms, shoes, and nutritional supplements and 80 OVC are enrolled in the modern one by two classroom block community school constructed by the project.
