I am currently a student at Oregon State University studying Construction Engineering Management. Before coming to school at Oregon State I was a sheet metal worker for Alliant Systems. I found the work to be very fulfilling and I developed an interest in the design of the mechanical systems I installed. I learned about the hands on installation and about working in the field in construction. A majority of the job involved working in a team to complete installations. Each person was often working on different aspects of the installation. I learned to communicate with my team members to get our projects completed in a timely fashion. During this time I also developed an interest in heavy equipment as I often worked with and around it. I'm seeking the opportunity to work in construction and see what construction engineering management has to offer. I'm currently looking for work in the Corvallis area during the school year. I am open to relocating to different areas during the summer.
