CurrentSeaBaaS is a core banking platform driving Sterling Bank’s financial technology, built on a scalable and secure microservices architecture.As a Backend Developer, I contribute to the development and maintenance of SeaBaaS’s core microservices, including key modules that drive the platform's functionality, ensuring efficient and reliable operations across the entire system.Key ResponsibilitiesMicroservices Development: Develop and maintain critical backend microservices using Django Rest Framework, delivering robust RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication across application modules.Leveraging Advanced Technologies: Work with a wide range of tools such as Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery, Kafka, Azure, and AWS S3 to ensure scalability, security, and optimal performance of the backend infrastructure.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-friendly and efficient solutions, ensuring alignment between backend services and frontend requirements.Driving Agile Success: Contribute to Agile development processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features while adhering to industry best practices in software design, development, and deployment.Scalable Architecture: Assist in designing backend systems with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term reliability to support SeaBaaS’s growth and evolving needs.
