Packaging Machine / Utilities Specialist

• Execute mechanical maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns.• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.• Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.• Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.• Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to GMP & 5’s standards• Carryout RCA with high accuracy

● Plan Monthly major preventative maintenance and review with the Engineering Head● Ensured that all maintenance checklist are strictly followed and signed off by technicians ● Carryout daily, weekly and Monthly Preventive maintenances checks on equipments ( Conveyors, Elevators, Hammer-mills, Pellet-press, Coolers,Crumble machines, Pumps)● Carryout cleaning, lubrication, inspection and tightening of loosed bolts and nuts● Carryout repairs/replacement of worn machines parts (Drive chain,Sprockets, Bearings, Mechanical seals, Impeller and ID fan, Damper, Rolls & Dies)● Assembling and installation of Machines from start to completion● Overhauling of equipment when due● Ensure Optimum equipment availability● Carryout Root-cause analysis (RCA) to breakdowns and provide timely solutions● Strictly adhere to GMP and 5-S standards
