I am well versed with SAP, Excel , powepoint, word, windows outlook , and these have proven to be prominent tools used in the supply chain operaions/ management. The following are my responsibilities and therefore experience gained at Purveyors SA Mining Services.Cargo check from ship the vessel to the warehouse and assist freight forwarder and marine insurance personnel on the level damages insurance purpose and repair.Working with Freight Forwarders warehousing to monitor the movement of Cargo and expedite to Mining site.Worked as a mediator between BV and freight forwarders in resolving issues i.e., weight, country Origin of goods and speeding up the process of expediting cargo to site. Worked closely with warehousing personnel in checking and process GRV before expediting.Worked with and assisted BV on cargo inspection before expediting cargo to Company mining site DRCResolving queries Allocate cargo as per route air, sea, road with the approval from managementAssisting Freight forwarder with Purchase orders on request.Verification of all docs against IR and signing Inspection Reports Monitoring and follow up collection request sent by suppliers.Liaise with the supplier to visit the warehouse at freight forwarders siteto resolve or repackage on mess / abnormal cargo and complex transportRequirements, and confirmation.Responsible for handling and overseeing cargo from ship the vessel to the correct location I.e., warehouses Liaising with shipper’s agent on safety of cargo from the vessel to the Port Terminal. Taking into account of damaged cargo and assist the insurance and freight forwarder with the necessary Information on cargo repair before expediting cargo to mine site.Providing information to the management regarding cargo status on warehouses floor. Monitor and facilitating the movement of cargo from freight forwarder warehouse to site in timely fashion and mitigate delay so as to meet the target of cargo delivery as per requirement.Checking that all documentations are in order and that the consignor has already issue necessary certificates for hazardous cargo before cargo dispatch.Team management on day-to-day performance on their everyday task. Co-ordinate between Transporters, Freight Forwarder, and suppliers and at the same time maintain a good relationship with them.
