At Wadi, we are building the first research-tech organization that helps African researchers do research conveniently with minimal stress. My role largely entails operations management, customer engagement, and scouting potential partnerships for our two products - SendSample and PublishIT among other responsibilities.

My internship was a compulsory one-month Shadow-a-Leader experience that entailed gaining valuable insights into the Leader's organization as it aligns with my interest. Specifically, I:Completed research on e-commerce, fashion and beauty, betting, and lottery customer base of the company to build buyer’s persona for a projected 60% increase in customer retention on one of its products.Prepared a detailed customer segmentation report to better understand customer segmentation.Interfacing with the product team and customer success team to understand what’s their core interest and outcomes in the customer segmentation project.Built customer personas for the e-commerce, fashion and beauty, betting, and lottery customer base.Compiled, documented, and submitted every report and research findings to the team lead, Insight and Analytics (Data Science) Team.Held once in a week meeting with the company’s CEO where I discussed my key learnings for the week as well as got advice as regards becoming a business owner.
