- True story : Had a drinking night with John Cena when we were on tour in Australia. It was going really well until he found out that I had been throwing my shots onto the carpeted floor instead of drinking it.- Responsibilities included the content distribution, in all media, of all WWE programming & Network in the Asia - Pacific region- Increased the revenue for the region by 260% in the space of 3 years - Notable achievements included license fees renewals in Thailand at 1000% increase (not a typo error) and entries into new markets like Myanmar & Vietnam as well as re-entry into Indonesia after a 6 year absence- Planning of long term goals for international growth in the region. This would include looking at new lines of revenue for the company as well as strategic review of all territories to ensure that all growth targets are achievable- Grew relationships with existing & new partners to drive long-term strategic goals (basically hanging out & having long meals and nights with them)- New responsibilities included working closely with the various regional sales teams (Japan, Taiwan, China & S. Korea) in terms of budget planning, strategy & analysis of media distribution in those regions

- My first job in the sports industry. Thought it would be easy. Pfftt....what did I know?- Responsibilities included the sales of football (AFC property, CONCACAF & FIFA Club World Cup), golf (One Asia) & cricket broadcast (Indian Premier League) rights to broadcasters in the Asia-Pacific region- Licensed rights would include the traditional TV rights (terrestrial, cable & satellite) and new media rights (mobile, internet, IPTV, DMB & other emerging broadcast technologies).- Achievements included sealing multi-million dollar deals with Indonesia as well as getting increased licensed fees from Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Australia & New Zealand broadcasters. - Responsible for hitting (and going beyond) the sales targets on all WSG events like the AFC Asian Cup, the annual editions of FIFA Club World Cup, One Asia golf, and the Indian Premier League.- Tracked the daily sales performance of WSG properties in the various markets- New responsibilities included the sales and distribution of all WSG content to Europe, Africa and the Americas.

- Head the marketing department that is responsible for the promotion and marketing of physical media releases- In-charged of looking for new channels of distribution for physical media- Strategic planning of thematic and seasonal campaigns and promotions throughout the year- Oversaw the exploitation of over 2000 back catalogue titles- Responsible for the acquisition of distribution rights for new independent movie titles and film studios- Planning of releases of titles for the entire year- In-charged of graphics team for packaging of the products as well as point-of-sales materials- Responsible for media planning and scheduling all media ad buys- Worked closely with the Hollywood studios to ensure the smooth running between AES and them- Studios under my direct charge would include Columbia Tri-star, 20th Century Fox/MGM, Shaw, Cathay, Discovery- Responsible for P&L for all the studios under my charge- Responsible for getting bundling deals with third parties for various video releases that garnered revenue of approx S$1.4 million from 2002 to 2004.

- Responsible for the acquisition and scheduling of international programs on Channel 5- Attended industry trade markets like Los Angeles Screenings, ATF, NATPE and MIP- Responsible for creating new programming time belts for the channel – The Tube (day part aimed at the youth market) & Daytime TV- Marketing and promoting of acquired shows through liaisons with on-air production and the local press (PT & OPT) - Strategic scheduling of both prime time and OPT- Negotiated prices of shows and license periods with distributors - Acquired music videos and music specials from local and regional music labels- Worked closely with the legal department over contractual issues - Responsible for acquiring hit shows for the channel, which garnered high ratings (e.g. Survivor, The Practice, Gilmore Girls, Malcolm In The Middle, Dark Angel, Popstars, Travelers, Who Dares Wins, American Music Awards, Emmy Awards & the S Club 7 series)- Worked closely with airtime sales to attract sponsorship for the various programmes
