Group Captain MJ Augustine (retd) Vishist Sewa Medal, was commissioned into the Fighter stream on 13 Jun 92 and retired in 2019. He has flown Mirage 2000, MiG 21, Kiran HPT 32 and Airbus A320 aircraft. He has over 3500 hrs of flying experience on these aircraft. He is a Flying Instructor, He is a graduate of College of Air Warfare, where he did his Higher Air Command Course, earned M Phil degree and was retained as an instructor where he pursued his PhD. Here he worked closely on developing Wargaming and Simulation system for full scale war simulation. He is an alumnus of College of Defence Management where he did his Defence Management. He is also a graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington where he did his M Sc. He is a trained Air Accident Investigator and has done many air accident investigations. He trained on airport development & project management from IIM Shillong & on UNIX, ‘C’ & ‘C’ data structures from IIT Kharagpur. He designs UAV around a payload, test flies and fine tunes it with an approach of ‘Right Tool for the Right Job’. His drones are successfully flying in some of the highest grounds of the world. He is a frequent speaker on aviation and drones. His drone was adjudged by the IAF as the best innovation of the year for 2018 by Air Chief. His Swarm Drones & MALE were given Skoch Award in 2020. He has been commended by Air-Officer- Commanding in Chief twice and was conferred with Vishist Seva Medal by the President of India in 2015. He is a trained Paratrooper Sky Diver, a Scuba Dive Master and Deep-sea Rescue Diver. He has traveled overseas extensively and visited Middle East, SE Asia and Europe to meet customers and pitch for the products. He has over a period, developed a strong network and working relationship with the Drone and its allied industries.
