I was the only Analyst in the company to report directly to a C-Level Executive and played a key role in international cost reduction projects.- Responsible for cost reduction projects regarding all lines of products in the company (+400 sku's). During a three-year period, I participated in a restructuring process that increased in more than 15% the overall gross margin of the company.- Co-responsible together with the COO for the management of COGS - approx. USD 160MM/year.- Responsible for calculating costs for all new products of the company. Implemented changes in indirect costs calculation. Controlled direct costs and overheads.- Responsible for international sourcing analysis (representing Brazil). During this period the Brazilian plant absorbed several new products. Only in Floor, Furniture and Shoes category, we increased the production volume in 40%, exporting to other countries globally.- Spotted gross margin increase opportunities coordinating the efforts (in the Supply Chain area) to improve the margin of products such as Veja Multi Uso, SBP and Nugget.
