Augusto Gove, with over 12 years of experience in Accountingand more than 3 years in leadership and management roles.He started his career as an Accountant in 2012 for 5 years, thenmore than 2 years as Supervisor in a power generationbusiness. After that, he was a Senior Accountant for morethan 2 years in an oil & gas company, and then he joined abanking company in 2022, where he stayed less than 1 year.After a career break, he started over at vehicle repair businessin May 2023 where he stayed 1 year then moved to FMCGindustry, which is his current employment. Throughout his career, He was responsible for the preparation of financial statements, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and review of profit/loss accounts, budgeting and forecasting process, drawing up job description to his team, presentation of financial results to the internal stakeholders, monitoring and implementation of internal controls to reduce errors and risk of frauds.He is great with Microsoft excel, SAP, primavera and he learns quickly about the new systems for accounting and reporting roles. Augusto holds an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from University Eduardo Mondlane, where he was awarded as a second-best graduated. He is a member of the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Mozambique since 2015, being qualified to prepare and submit Statutory Reports/Annual Report and Financials Statements to the legal/government entities in Mozambique.
