During his PhD he was a researcher at Logics lab (inf.ufrgs.br/logics) from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He also received MBA in Project Management at the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in 2014. Agusto's PhD thesis was selected as the best thesis on the area, by the Microelectronics Brazilian Society.
