I am actively involved in developing business studies across various sectors, including scientific academic publishing, artificial intelligence, technologies designed for the aging population within the silver economy, digital marketplaces, climate technology, and the wine industry.Since 1999, alongside the experiences listed, I have founded multiple startups such as registos.com, one of Portugal's first domain name registrars; toolshift.com, a construction equipment rental marketplace; and datel.web.pt, a marketplace for video game accessories. Additionally, I played a role in the marketing and sales of web.pt, one of Portugal's pioneering automatic registrar and hosting services. My involvement also extends to consulting services for various companies, focusing on business development, startup mentoring, sales, and marketing.

In my role as a representative in Portugal, I advocate for the Portuguese fintech ecosystem through the ABANCA Innova Startup Program. This initiative is in partnership with #fintechPortugal and FTP FintechPartners, and has successfully introduced over 20 Portuguese fintech startups to the program.

Founded in 1973, Vidropol quickly became a leading manufacturer of laminated fiberglass products for sectors including construction, and the paper, gas, and oil industries. Amidst a period of financial difficulties and declining team morale, I was brought on board for a short stint. With the company lacking a marketing and sales manager and engaged in a Special Revitalization Process (PER), I was able to secure a series of new contracts, both locally and internationally. These agreements provided the necessary cash flow to sustain the company's operations for some time and to clear several outstanding liabilities, particularly employee salaries and various operational costs.

Leveraging my background in the construction market, I was recruited to manage the wholesale channels for architecture and engineering firms across northern Portugal at Saint-Gobain's Isover division. My responsibilities include overseeing the regional distribution networks. Saint-Gobain is a French multinational known for its building materials, and in Portugal, it operates through Weber, Isover, Placo, Glassdrive, among other subsidiaries.

I managed the commercial strategy and oversaw operations for the Lisbon and Algarve branches, leading a sales team exceeding ten members. Since their establishment, I have been accountable for the creation and administration of these offices. Norquimia is a Spanish multinational corporation specializing in chemical products for the construction and industrial maintenance sectors, with its headquarters in La Coruña, Spain, and logistics centers in Madrid, Portugal, and Poland.

I continued my initial business venture with a new partner, offering software and hardware solutions to SMEs and accounting firms. Additionally, I established a new division dedicated to entertainment software, particularly games. I successfully negotiated a master franchising agreement to represent the Spanish computer and video game retail chain CENTROMAIL in Portugal, which was subsequently acquired by GAME from the United Kingdom. I oversaw a team of approximately 10 employees in diverse roles at Portugal's first exclusive video game store, situated in GaiaShopping.

I established one of the pioneering companies in Portugal that sold software on CD-ROMs. I imported them from the USA and set up a distribution network across Portugal.
