I was born and raised in Michigan where I grew up swimming in lakes, climbing trees, and squatting in the soil watching bugs. Despite my diverse experience, music, biology, and the environment are where my passions lie. I began working around 15 years old in customer service, of which I now have 10+ years of experience.I was a non-traditional university student. I began my undergrad (in Spanish Education) in Iowa immediately after graduating high school in 2015. After a few bumps in the road, I moved to Colorado and went back to school at Metropolitan State University of Denver. It was at MSU Denver that I finally found my stride with biology--specifically environmental/wildlife biology. It took 7 years, but these 7 years gave me a profound appreciation for not only giving things the time they need, but also for my perseverance and ability to adapt.
