I am a passionate Computer Science student at Drexel University, currently on track to graduate in 2027. My primary scope of interest lies in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, more specifically deep learning, and I plan to focus my studies in this area. My love for technology was sparked at an early age due to my father's extensive background in computer science, which dates back to the 1960s. My countless conversations and explorations with my father, as we dove into the world of computing, have opened my eyes to the truly boundless and revolutionizing possibilities that computers bring. These experiences have since fueled my desire to pursue a career in this specialization, and I have been working hard to make our dream a reality.In addition to skills such as collaborative and agile development picked up in my coursework at Drexel University, I have been actively seeking out ways to build my experience and skills in computer science. By working on personal side projects, I have gained practical knowledge in various areas related to my field and interests. For instance, I have developed websites from scratch, a personalized AI chatbot by utilizing existing APIs, and an image scraper/cataloger using web libraries. This has allowed me to apply my independent research skills and improve my proficiency in full-stack development, UI/UE design, and API integration, as well as programming languages like Python, HTML, and CSS. I am also excited to have been selected as a recipient of the STAR Scholar award, which will provide me with the invaluable opportunity to work as a research assistant to a professor over the summer. This venture will allow me to contribute to ongoing research efforts and further my growth in the profession of computer science.After graduation, my goal is to secure a career in a research-oriented company or organization that specializes in artificial intelligence. My passion for this field drives me to seek out opportunities to continuously learn and grow in my knowledge and skills, regardless of where I end up. In the long term, I hope to one day achieve my dream of earning a doctorate in AI, which would allow me to contribute to not only the field but the world in a meaningful and impactful way. I am excited about the potential that the future holds, and I am committed to working hard to reach my aspirations.
