I was part of an innovation team that created the Capital of Darkness -concept, which embraces the natural darkness and spreads awareness about light pollution. I worked in two research projects. In the first project I participated in laboratory work: e.g. struvite extraction, water sampling, water analysis, filter coating using different methods, filter testing and analysis, 3D modeling and participating in various other smaller jobs in the lab. In the second project I wrote a literary review about biochar.

I wanted to try something different. My duties included organising and hosting private events and river cruises, preparing small meals, preparing cocktails and working at the till amongst all else.

I worked as a producer of the streetfestival B17. This event was developed "from the scratch" and therefore I had multitude of responsibilities such as applying needed permits, coordinating the design, contacting artists and designing the layout of the area, contacting different suppliers, organising the event market and food court and coordinating the.

I worked as a graphic designer/ co-producer in the relaunch of InsideOulu -map. My tasks included the design of the map, negotiating with the sponsors e.g. city of Oulu and coordinating the distribution. 6000 maps were printed and they were distributed around the city of Oulu.

I worked as a gallery host and took part in organising exhibitions, bookings and events.

I worked in a care facility for people who have substance abuse related dementia. I also took part in green care activities and took care of the animals (e.g. sheep) that lived on the premises.
