As a GM at Fastenal my daily responsibilities included Sales, Inventory management, A/R-Collections, P&L management, staffing and sales management.

As an outside sales rep at Fastenal my main duty is providing inventory asset management to the customers in my book of business. I spend four days a week on the road servicing customers within a 100 mile radius. My cornerstone job function is to provide savings to customers in any way possible, to increase profitability. Fastenal is a Fortune 500 company that achieves a constant state of growth by providing excellent customer service on a local level, nationwide. With over 2600 local sales teams, Fastenal provides customers "Mom and Pop" service, on a competitive price scale. In my local branch, our team is responsible for our customers. Working within that decentralized environment, our store personnel take a flexible approach to support local customers – sourcing products, making emergency deliveries, managing a lean flow of inventory to points of use, and leveraging our services, solutions and specialists to drive continual business improvements.

As a student at OPSU I received a Bachelors Degree in AgriBusiness, with a Minor in animal science. I was an executive council member in the student senate, a resident advisor, a chair on the housing committee, and a member of the Aggie golf team.

Learned the "in's and out's" of the banking industry. As an intern, I was privileged to work in many different departments of the Bank, ranging from loan processing to sitting in with Senior officer and clients.

Provided paraprofessional advising to undergraduate students in three distinct residential environments. Developed and conducted programs on diversity, chemical abuse, personal development, relationships, security, and academic performance. Managed administrative tasks including room condition reports, maintenance requests, incident reports, and the room change process. Enforced college policy.
