I am a Board Certified Orthodontist in Canada (NDSE/FRCDC). I am passionate about people, health care and Orthodontics.As a healthcare professional, I find it personally rewarding to improve a patient's quality of life and self-esteem while creating beautiful smiles. I am inquisitive and a team worker. I am empathetic with patients and staff and, I acknowledge the importance of good communication, organizational and multitasking skills. My experience with living and training in different regions of Brazil and Canada has led me to explore and value different cultures, as well as navigate through distinct professional perspectives while having a broader view of philosophies of care in Orthodontics. I am experienced with treating multidisciplinary cases including orthognathic surgery, replacement of missing teeth, restorative dentistry and with working with patients with special needs, dentofacial anomalies and cases of craniofacial anomalies. I also conducted research that led to scientific publication. Furthermore, I developed interest in working with 3D Orthodontic planning, indirect bonding and I maintain myself updated with the newest technologies and knowledge developed in Orthodontics.
