Hi, my name is Aurelia Gordillo. I graduated from North Park University with a major in Health Science. During my time at North Park, I honed my communication skills, especially when it came to presenting health topics to the public, which has been a key part of my professional journey.Over the past five years, I’ve worked as a community health worker, where I’ve gained valuable experience in health education, reducing health disparities, and improving access to care. Being fluent in Spanish has been a crucial asset, allowing me to break down language barriers and provide better access to healthcare for patients in need.My passion for healthcare has recently led me to pursue data analytics, where I see an opportunity to make an even greater impact. I am currently participating in the COOP Careers fellowship, a 16-week program where I’m developing expertise in data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and visualization using tools like SQL, Python, and Tableau, while continuing my professional growth. My goal is to transition into an entry-level role in data analytics, where I can combine my healthcare experience with data-driven insights to make a difference.
