**Position: Operations Manager**Embarking on a new role as Operations Manager, I am poised to lead the pivotal transition from prototype development to full-scale production. I join the Race Department at Commençal, which is a little satellite structure comprising a design center and workshop. Our main focus is to conceptualize, prototype and fine-tune cutting-edge bicycles that are exclusively used by our professional racing team. Our arsenal comprises a computer, a range of tools, and a handful of machines that enable us to compete and come out victorious.As for my role, it encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities that I'll keep updating as I dive deeper into the role. Some of my key focus areas include :- Offering support and assistance to our current Enduro and Downhill Race programs.- Leading the development of new bicycle platforms specifically for the upcoming Olympics Games 2024 (got the 🥈 medal).- Enhancing our current working methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.- Spearheading the management and technical improvements of our current workshop.- Identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage through research on new materials, technologies, and trends.- Collaborating with our pro-team riders and coaches to gather feedback and insights to inform product development and improvement.- Managing relationships with our suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components that adhere to our quality standards and cost constraints.- Providing technical assistance and training to other members of our Race Department team to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to execute their tasks effectively.

As the first containers of Forestal Bikes are now being shipped out of the factory, and the production team is fully hired and trained, my focus has shifted towards the next phase of the manufacturing process.With a streamlined team, we are now directing our efforts towards the industrialisation and mass-production of metal frames (for Production Privée), all of which will be welded here in Andorra. Having already prepared a few frames, we are now ready to scale up production and achieve greater numbers. Our cutting-edge technology, including robots and CNC machines, is at the ready, and our team is eager to take on this exciting challenge.

The FTC is an industrial and technological building with 8 separate floors, covering 8,000 square meters. It houses several departments, including Design, Engineering, Hardware and Software, Information Technology (IT), Product Development, Marketing, and Testing laboratories, Production Capabilities such as Machining, Welding, Painting & Assembly lines, and Logistics center.I led (with the support of our dedicated team) the successful transformation of a former automobile garage into a complete bike factory for Forestal and Production Privée, enabling us to engage in research and development, collaborations with other industries, and production of complete bikes.Then I led the Manufacturing Department, overseeing a growing team of over 25 employees from seven different nationalities. Together, we achieved the full CNC and welding frames for Production Privée DH Team, and assembled the first container of Forestal Bikes, painted and manufactured in Andorra. We are proud to be building the fastest, most flexible, and perhaps craziest bike-factory in the world, right here in Andorra!
