Unification of system developments between European sites with the definition and the design of a unique software solution supporting multiple model-driven development processes to enable seamless collaboration between technical centres.-> The unified system development environment was mainly deployed in England and Luxembourg. It was entirely supporting the model-based development process used by those technical centers, including autocoding, and should be soon extended to support the process used in France.• Identification of the various system developments processes used within Delphi and lead of a multisites group of experts,• Development of a new Integrated Development Environment (IDE) based on the Eclipse platform interfacing directly with the common software (Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest) and modeling (Matlab / Simulink) tools,• Unified IDE fully extensible to support any kind of system developments based on Simulink models, offering advanced multi-format data dictionary management and automated integration features. Open architecture designed to interface in the future with AUTOSAR tools.Auxiliary assignments: ESM Level 1 specifications development, implementation of a CMS dedicated to specifications storage with Java Server Faces and MySQL.

Conception and development from the ground up of an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to support the entire model-based system design process.-> The IDE enabled to greatly improve the specification quality and the overall efficiency of the system development process. It became quickly the official system solution and is still used today by more than 100 users within Delphi Diesel Systems.• Identification of the system development process, definition of ways of improvement and technical solutions to offer a better support,• Development of a dedicated IDE based on the NetBeans platform, connected to a MS SQL database to automatically exchange data between users and interfacing directly with Matlab/Simulink,• Final product with full support of the specification process, from design validation, to documentation generation, data dictionary management and automated system integration.Auxiliary assignments: engine management functions (Diesel Common Rail engines) specification and validation.

• Main engine management functions study with a high and functional point of view (Diesel Common Rail engines),• Generic none-regression test plans creation enabling quick and functional validation.-> Application in the validation team allowing to functionally check 50% of the main engine control modules (torque, engine synchronization, air, etc.) in less than 1.5 man-days.
