I have been teaching for MDCPS since August 1998. I am currently in my fourteenth year at North Miami Senior High School, where I teach mathematics, this year specifically I am teaching Algebra 2, and Statistics. I like my students and I enjoy what I do! The positive and forward societal push I help provide makes my profession worthwhile.Plus I am in my fifth year as the Athletics Department Business Manager. I'm responsible for handling the invoices, paying game officials and workers, reviewing the monthly budget, scheduling the buses for our teams, and handling fundraising. Go Pioneers!

I worked in U.S. EPA's Region 5 office, in the Air & Radiation Division, in the Enforcement Section covering the States of Illinois and Indiana. I reviewed data and reports, I performed field inspections, I wrote Notices of Violation as necessary, and I worked with attorneys both from U.S. EPA and the Department of Justice, depending on the alleged violations and level of cooperation from industries.

I served, after graduation from Tri-State University, as a Volunteer in the Cercle de Zagora, Province de Ouarzazate, southeast of the High Atlas Mountains. I learned some Moroccan Arabic, I wrote status reports in French, I repaired well pumps, I procured additional pumps from UNICEF, and I rode a Yamaha dirt bike through the countryside. Morocco is a magical place; the people are truly wonderful. It was a beautiful time.
