- Sets the vision for Audubon's international program, fundraising and developing public and private partnerships to further the conservation goals of Audubon and its partners in the Americas. Predominant focus in Latin America and the Caribbean countries and continues to build presence in the Canadian Boreal. • The Latin America program hosts more than 350 employees, 14 offices and a budget of aprox. U$ 50-60 million.• Manages a multidisciplinary team to implement the Sustainable Food Security, Water Security and Smart Infrastructure strategies at a continental scale, mainstreaming the support of finance and operations, revenue, marketing, communications, policy, science and conservation for system change. • Supports directly the management of the Latin American Conservation Council LACC composed of 35 world class leaders and CEOs.• Member of the Organization Executive Team. • The Nature Conservancy is among the largest conservation organizations in the world.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

• Management of conservation, measures and external affairs teams in Latin America. • Lead the design and implementation of Food Security, Water Security and Smart Infrastructure strategies, external affairs and measures for Latin America Conservation Council LACC.• Established the Latin America Water Fund Partnership between The Conservancy, Inter American Bank, Global Environmental Facility and Fundación FEMSA: U$27 million fund raised, 17 water funds launched in capital cities and more than 4,000 poor families benefited.• Success in achieving donations and investments from major donors, and international foundations and corporations.

Greater Seattle Area

• Provided advice to forestry, marine and watershed conservation strategies in WA. • Leaded a team to design the “Emerald Edge” Project from the Washington Coast to Alaska´s Tongass Forest. Obtained targeted seed capital to start the Program. Large impact successful project to date.

Cartagena, Colombia

• Started and managed strategies, operations and revenue teams in Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Panamá, Perú and Venezuela.• Established and managed the trustees program in Colombia.• Co-leaded the design and implementation of U$ 70 million dollar sustainable cattle ranching project with involvement of more than 3,000 farmers in Colombia and 320,000 acres conserved and in sustainable use.• Environmental license legislation in Colombia changed to include the mitigation hierarchy and equivalent compensations schemes. Policy under replication in Chile and Perú. • Oil and gas off shore planning project with PDVSA with measurable results in avoiding, minimizing and compensating environmental impacts from oil corporations.

Caracas, Venezuela

• Lead the implementation of the Biodiversity Program with 3 areas of focus:  Biotrade,  Biotechnology markets and  Financial institutions. • Supported board decisions at Fondeshu (Fondo de Desarrollo Social y Humano) and Eco-Enterprise Fund.

Bogotá, Colombia

• Advisor to replicate the Biotrade Program in Andean countries and Africa in partnership with the Latin American Development Bank (CAF). • Speaker and representative in multilateral meetings

Bogotá, Colombia

• Designed, started-up and consolidated of the Biotrade Program in Colombia in partnership with international cooperation agencies, private sector and the government of Colombia. • First design of the Biocomercio Investment Fund: U$ 5 million.• Lead research and policy teams in several areas.
