Main responsibilities:• Identifying, presenting, and implementing the strategy to launch PKR’s operations in Italy under the new national regulations• Reviewing, and assessing, several licensed gaming operators for the purpose of acquiring a controlling stake in one of them, entering Italy under its active gaming license and upgrading the old license to new standards, vis-à-vis organizing a new gaming corporation and participating to the public tender for the grant of a new licenseResults:• In October 2010, the client was able to take over a brand new Italian corporation that held the last gaming license of old issuance available in Italy. The company had never operated and the license had not been activated: the acquisition was equivalent to entering the marketplace with a clean slate• In April 2011, the old license was successfully upgraded to the new regulatory standards, making it fully compliant with EU and Italian regulations for operations in the .it marketplaceNote: the Italian government has suspended the issuance of brand new licenses pending the escalation of material claims by European operators that the public tender for new licenses is in breach of European laws and principles. As it has acquired the last available old-issuance license and fully upgraded it, PKR.it is fully legal and ready to launch as a new operator in Italy, months before the new competitors. The first court hearing in the controversy is tentatively scheduled for mid-October 2011.• On 28th of January 2012 PKR.it it’s finally online.• On December 2014 I resigned from PKR even if I am still in charge to clear all the outstanding with AAMS in order to recover the amount deposited as Guarantee with the Italy Ministry of Treasure and I am also taking care for the sale of PKR license.• C ompany branch (PKR Italia srl) has been sold. Just waiting to recover the last 50% of the cash guarantee still with Ministry of Treasure.
