I worked at BuzzFeed for seven years where I directed and produced over one hundred videos, pioneered viral environmental content on their channels, created multiple successful unscripted series, and gained a deep knowledge of what makes millions of eyes pay attention. A "video producer" in web-video-speak means someone who creates videos from start to finish almost entirely on their own— ideating, writing, casting, shooting, editing, color grading, sound mixing, etc.
