NOVEMBER 2022 – PRESENTINDIVIDUAL THERAPISTABA TORONTO SCARBOROUGH, ON• Conduct individual or 1:1 ABA/IBI therapy using the principles of ABA and IBI.• Utilize ABA/IBI techniques such as ABLLS, EESA, VB-MAPP, Token Economy, Differential Reinforcement (DRO/DRA/DRI), behavioural antecedent strategies and various Prompt methods based on clients’ needs for skills acquisition in different settings such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT).• Responsible for organizing files and binder sequence and ensuring clients’ documents are arranged in order.• Ensure individual clients’ programs are correct and have target sheets with appropriate behavioural and functional targets.• Responsible for collecting and recording client data accurately and efficiently and ensuring confidentiality in accordance with company and government policies.• Conduct regular updates on target graphs and datasheets for consistent skills acquisition and tracking and monitoring the progress of skills mastery.• Perform specific and frequent reinforcer assessments and maintain reinforcer inventory being used by the client and ensuring reinforcers are prepared before to clients’ session.• Update communication sheets with the important information of the client• Deliver direct service within the center and in-house group school for socialization exposure.• Prepare teaching materials or communication systems (verbal, PECS, Visuals/Proloquo2go) used for conducting the scientific behavioural intervention.• Participate in client’s progress reporting and assessment with the senior BCBA.• Assist in the initial assessment of new clients and monitor the new learner’s progress.

• Provides ABA/IBI therapy to kids individually.• Deliver necessary scientific autism intervention to children based on IEP by the academy.• Facilitated classroom teaching to group of children assessessed with developmental disabilities.• Record and graph data, documenting progress notes.

• Shadows with the Senior Therapist in the implementation of the ABA / IBI program for the individualized needs and goals of the client with ASD under BCBA supervision.• Supports client goals through implementing strategies and monitoring progress.• Conducts intervention strategies and creates materials for stimulus prompts and token strategies. • Performs data collection and communicates outcomes of interventions with BCBA.• Maintain a good rapport with the client and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.• Create and maintain a healthy and positive environment for the client to promote progress and improve quality of life.• Create optimal opportunities for learning programs and therapy sessions.• Adherence to the company policies and procedures.

• Managed and responded to all incoming client calls and helped them deal with their daily emotional and stress-related issues by giving free and confidential helpline support and referral to those in need.• Record the calls into a Crisis-Line Intake • Attended extensive training needed to perform duties as a staff responder with topics that includes but are not limited to: o Emotional Crisis and Humanistic Helping skills, o Solution Focus approach and Crisis Line protocols, o Relationship and Marital Parenting, o Stress and Anger management, o Grief and Loss, o Depression Anxiety, o Domestic Abuse, o Rape Suicide Prevention Safety protocols, and o LGBT issues. Each topic had in-depth role-playing, which immersed us in dealing with and resolving the different situations.• Completed a series of training and obtained the Mental Health First Aid certification provided by the organization.• Collaborate and efficiently plan work and work with the peer responders to work and provide volunteer service in rotation shifts 24/7.

Role:• Center Psychologist for Boarding Home field office supervising an average of 26 children cases at any one time.Responsibilities:• Selects administers, analyzes, and interprets results of psychological assessment.• Facilitates Interventions such as Group dynamics and play therapy regularly to the clients • Provides psychological counselling individually and in groups for children who have behavioural, emotional, and academic problems that affect their personality and academic performance or ability to interact well with others and make a psychological report and assessment of each client.• Analyzes and interprets complete psychological assessment data using projective and statistical techniques, knowledge of instruments, and understanding of disabling conditions. • Work together with the Social Workers and the Center Coordinator to formulate Crisis Management and Intervention.
