PSCORE (People for Successful COrean REunification) is a non-profit grassroots NGO that advocate for promoting human rights in North Korea. We address potential barriers to reunification and assist North Korean refugees in adapting to daily life in South Korea. My role is provide academic support and mentors for defector students as they transition into life in South Korea.

Project: Formalization of informal mining titles under the inter-administrative agreement between Jaime Isaza Cadavid University, CORANTIOQUIA and the Ministry of Mines and Energy. ✅ Review of the mining-environmental guides of 22 PSUs (Mining Production Units) and complementation of information of 10 environmental licenses✅ Acomplished the legalization of all small-scale miners by enhancing the Environmental ESG indicator.✅Achieved effective project management and communication in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring timely completion of tasks within strict deadlines.

Inform@Risk is a German-Colombian research project in conjunction with the inhabitants of Bello Oriente, in the northeastern commune of Medellín, in which the first pilot project of a low-cost and low-maintenance early warning system for mass movements friendly to the urban space was developed. ✅Support in the collection of quantitative (geomorphological) and qualitative data (interviews, workshops and community mapping).✅Translator (English/Spanish) between locals and foreign scientists facilitating effective communication between diverse stakeholders✅ By organizing meetings with the local community, I improved communication channels, leading to increased acceptance and support for the project.✅ Ability to work effectively within multicultural teams and address the needs of informal settlements.
