Senior Project Manager
Current- In-depth analysis of linguistic requests to plainly understand project scope and define tailor-made processes - Assign each project step to the designated linguist by providing them with account-specific guidelines and project-related special instructions - Minimize customer complaints by ensuring that the approved terminology is consistent across files and that TMs, glossaries and style guides are always up to date and in line with client's requirements - Guarantee that both rush and standard deadlines are met by promptly alerting resources and by constantly monitoring project status so as to re-schedule work when on-time delivery is at risk for unexpected events - Identify any existing software bug and liaising with IT in order to solve problems/prevent risk - Proof-read each file: in case of inaccuracies, identify the root cause and update linguistic assets accordingly - Delivery of leading-edge translations in a timely manner and within budget - Accurate filing and archiving of all project-related materials - Monitor and mentor any assigned Project Coordinators/Associates - Providing guidance to new starters by preparing and leading trainings - Host regular calls with other team members to help them understand complex project scopes while sharing pertaining best practices for any given scenario
