About Aurora Jordan
My name is Aurora Jordan. I am an independent transitional multi medium artist from Huntsville, Alabama. I work out of a cozy home studio where my ESA dog is my coworker.I use a variety of mediums including; Watercolors, Acrylic paints, Resin Casting, Woodburning, Acrylic Ink, Digital Art, Graphite, Charcoal, Markers and Colored Pencils. I also enjoy fiber arts, such as Saori and Rigid Heddle weaving, fiber spinning, and crochet. Occasionally I venture into jewelry design, and have been getting into some wood burning and flute making. My inspirations are oftentimes from nature, video games, and more recently my spirituality has influenced some of my work.I have done sketch card art for Dynamite Entertainment. I did work for the Kiss, Fallout, and Elvira collections. I have been a featured artist at numerous pop culture and fandom conventions in the SE US. including Treklanta and the Memphis Comic Expo, and have been an artist-vendor at many more throughout AL, MS, GA, and TN.I have won several awards for illustration in gallery shows in Boaz, AL. Most notably a first place award for a pen and ink drawing of two eagles, which I sell prints of in my shop, a first place award for illustration for a pastel/charcoal piece depicting a medicine wheel with animals coordinating with each direction drawn into the center, a native woman and a horse with hair blowing in the wind, and a quote "The earth is my church, my sacred space, walk softly on our mother's face.", and a 2nd place award for a pastel drawing of a fallen angel wielding a sword.I hope you enjoy my work, and I look forward to doing business with you!
