Medal.tv is the largest platform for recording and sharing short gameplay clips across mobile, PC, and console. I joined Medal.tv after they acquired Megacool, a company I founded four years prior.Key contributions as COO:- Raised $60M+ in funding and owned the closing process- Hired ~100 people in the US and internationally, scaling the company from 12 when we joined to over 85 team members- Built out all team member life cycle processes/strategies from scratch, such as compensation, onboarding, HR strategies, career growth, and performance.- Ran 10+ team across People Ops, Talent, Finance, Legal, Technical Support, and Trust & Safety- Closed and helped negotiate 4 M&A deals As I reflect on my time at Medal, I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together, and I know that we have made a lasting impact on the gaming industry. One of the best experiences while building a startup is finding people who genuinely care, challenge, and inspire each other. The amazing Medal team was doing just that, and I’m so grateful for having shared this experience with this highly talented group of people.Talent aside, the achievement I am most proud of is that we built a team of genuinely kind, humble, and helpful people. Cosgear is pioneering the largest global cosplay community for sharing, planning, and building cosplays in a market with a $4.6B TAM, growing at 17% annually. Originally a hardware company with over $1M in sales and a 200k social media following, we’ve now launched an all-in-one online platform for cosplayers.As an active board member and angel investor, I mentor the founders bi-weekly, focusing on product/marketing strategy and navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship. I’ve invested in three funding rounds and helped them raise over $1M through crowd-investing.

As a founder, I wore all the hats except getting nitty gritty with the code.Key achievements include:- Onboarded over 70 games through product-led growth, founder-led sales, and content marketing.- Bootstrapped our first year and raised a $1.6m seed round.- Grew a remote engineering team to 7 talented people- Overcame market adversities and resource constraints with resilience and grit and strategically navigated us to a successful exit with the sale to Medal.tvOur journey at Megacool is a testament to the power of product-led growth and entrepreneurial perseverance in the competitive mobile gaming market.

The company has established itself as one of Norways most promising mobile start-ups. Dirtybit consists of nine people and is headquartered in Bergen, Norway.
