As a senior nutrition scientist at a national non-profit research and advocacy organization, Aurora developed original research, science and policy analyses, consumer guides, and published a peer-reviewed paper to inform and empower consumers as well as to educate policy makers and the media on the state of conventional farming, food manufacturing, and the U.S. food supply. She has also conducted cancer epidemiological research at a California cancer registry, clinical trial research in pediatric oncology at Stanford University, and childhood obesity research at Children’s Hospital Boston.
