COMAC C919 Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) program: • Manage and prioritise the activities of 6 Design Area Leaders and the Checker Team Leader. • Responsible of EWIS in the nose cockpit and cargo, fuselage cabin and cargo and the racks. • Up to 62 employees in my team. I ensure that the quantity of people is adequate and matches the workload. I recruit and interview designers and senior designers and subsequently support the mentoring of newcomers. • Provide support and solving methods to technical problems. • Organise and animate technical negotiation with customer and partners. • Review and sign our internal processes and design guides as well as supporting our customer to define their design rules and documentation.

COMAC C919 EWIS program, Fuel tanks: • Responsible for the installation design of the harnesses inside the fuel tanks. • Manage the design activities with a team of 3 designers. • Train Chinese designers whilst supporting project management activities (tracking, metrics, reporting). • Designated Tool & Process team focal to improve the communication between our 2 teams and to help define our design rules and methods. • Provide constant and consistent support to Integration, Certification, Safety and V&V teams. • Helping the customer to define their requirements for EWIS and showing how to verify them.

Airbus A350 Wings, Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) program: • Manage a team of 10 designers and report results to the Project Manager. • Provide technical support and guidance to designers to produce drawings on CATIA V5. • Chair quality meetings and design reviews with customers. • Define design standards & processes for 3D & drawings in respect with Airbus specifications.• Setup the offload of the FTI activity to India and spent 2 weeks in Bangalore (Feb 2012) to audit this offshore activity between UK and India.

Aircelle, Rolls-Royce Trent 700 Thrust Reverser Unit (TRU) program: • On-site in Aircelle Burnley to support Aircelle design activities and assist in the development of the business relationship with Aircelle regarding work offload to SES. • Assigned to find cost & weight reduction as well as reliability improvement solutions for the electric and hydraulic systems on T700 TRU. • Responsible for defining the program schedule, organising the design review and characterising needs for the cost reduction activity. • Supervision of two design engineers based in SES in Bristol to provide them with technical support in order to find new cost/weight reduction. • At the same time, in charge of the coordination and the guarantee of high quality of the deliverables for the CAD conversion (CADDS5 to CATIA V5) activity between SES India and Aircelle.

Airbus A350 wings, Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) program: • Production of wiring schematics of the FTI equipments and wiring in the wings. These schematics were used for the FTI harness design and were providing: the position of each equipment in the wings, the wires connected to each equipment as well as the diameter of each bundle segment.

Airbus A400M wings, Electric, Fuel Quantity Indicator (FQI) and Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) programs: • Work organisation and management of the design team (up to 12 designers).• Design and Check of 3D models, drawings on CATIA V5 and bill of materials, against Labinal quality processes and Airbus requirements.• Configuration management of the electrical harnesses and bracket installations.• Writing up the technical contents & impacts on Technical Repercussion Sheets from Changes.• Incorporate design improvements and changes, 3D & 2D, on electrical harnesses (FTI & FQI). • Creation of a tool on Excel, using VBA, which automates the check processes for the modification closure and tracking status. This resulted in time saving and increased our quality and productivity. I was also rewarded for the best idea of the month by the Labinal Improvement Suggestion Scheme. • Definition of design rules and creation of design installation handbooks and checklists.
