 Inspect and patrol all airport facilities, grounds and properties to ensure regulatory compliance with FAA 14 FAR Part 139, Airport Certification Manual, FAR Part 77, TSR 1542, Airport Security Plan, Pitkin County Code Title 10, Storm Water Management Plan, Spill Prevention & Counter Control Procedures, Wildlife Hazard Management Plan, Noise Abatement and Curfew Procedures, and Safety Management System. Communicate with Air Traffic Control. Ensure safety of airport for aviation users by observing runway, weather and airfield conditions. Assessing conditions and issuing NOTAMs. Perform snow removal operations according to Snow and Ice Control Plan. Communicate pertinent and timely airport information to other airport employees, tenants, contractors, and users. Respond to, investigate and document emergency, critical or unusual events occurring on Airport property. Act as Airport representative on-scene during emergencies, and provide logistical support to fire, law enforcement or medical responders. Participate fully in the Incident Command System. Respond as either Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter or Operations Officer. Conduct research and provide administrative support and assistance.  Deliver high level of customer service to airport customers, tenants, and airport users. Assist with the development of various Standard Operating Procedures for the airport. Assist with coordinating/escorting security for VIP arrivals and departures.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

 Responsible for safe receipt and dispatch of assigned flights, which includes load integrity and safety compliance. Interpret and complete aircraft weight and balance load sheets, hazardous material identification labels, and aircraft loading manifests. Delegate duties throughout ramp agents and lead a safe and efficient team. Operate aircraft tug and participate in all ramp activities. Perform nightly security check on aircraft.
