Austen focuses on a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including those for the acquisition, leasing, and financing of retail, multi-family, office, and industrial facilities. In addition to previously working for firms in Charlotte and Atlanta, Austen most recently served as in house counsel to one of Charleston, South Carolina’s largest employers, where he focused on commercial real estate and general corporate transactions.Austen is a 2017 graduate of Leadership North Fulton. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Georgia Bar. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Austen graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Economics. He earned his law degree at Wake Forest. Austen is admitted to practice in NC, SC, and GA.
