I am a fourth-year medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School applying to residency in Family Medicine. At the University of Minnesota Medical School, I enrolled in the Rural Physician Associate Program. I graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2021 with dual honors degrees: a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.A. with a major in Spanish and a concentration in Hispanic Literature. I additionally minored in Latinx Studies, Chemistry, and Biology. I am passionate about public health and community medicine as a foundation for primary care. I aim to use my medical education to pursue a career as a physician working in under-served and minority populations, with special attention to rural, immigrant and LGBTQ+ populations.
