2018-2022: Led a set of teams on Recruiting Products, focused on helping Facebook reach its ambitious hiring goals through innovative tools, including attracting diverse talent, acquiring high-quality candidate data, and supporting an engaging candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting process.2016-2018: Reimagined the Facebook product for teenagers, founding a team and building a whole-new experience from scratch.2014-2022: Also served as Engineering Lead on iOS and Android Recruiting, responsible for reviewing candidates, training interviewers, establishing the hiring bar, and working with hiring managers to understand their needs.2013-2016: Managed the iOS News Feed Experience team. Helped to lead projects including...* Year-long architectural refresh of News Feed using what would become the OSS project ComponentKit.* Numerous performance and reliability efforts to improve News Feed's core metrics.* Bringing threaded comments to iOS.* Extending the Like button with Reactions.2013: Jumped in as a technical leader on the burgeoning native iOS News Feed team, just as it was coming into full ownership of the News Feed user experience. I helped to implement a redesign of Feed for 100s of millions of users and managed to break the app only a few times.

Designed and built a suite of successful iPhone/Android apps with 1M+ downloads.Managed mobile development and QA team.Helped to negotiate development, licensing and distribution deals with businesses of many sizes, from Valley startups to big East Coast publishers.

Conducted research into cutting edge topics in parallel computing, most notably Transactional Memory: how to efficiently implement hardware-assisted support for atomic sections in a multicore environment.Led a team to build a system simulator to explore how transactional memory could be implemented in hardware and its implications for programming models.

Designed (sketches, wireframes, mock ups) and built (.NET and Javascript) the next generation user interface for an in-house, online CMS called Genesis.
