Key Technologies Supported: Wide array of AWS Infrastructure and Services Linux – mainly RHEL/CentOS/Amazon LinuxWindows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2012 R2Active DirectorySQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014, 2019 Day to day my work currently involves the following: - Management of current projects, working incidents generated by client users or monitoring incidents delivered to our ticketing board leveraging all of the acquired knowledge in my 6 year run at Virtusa - Constant client communication and satisfaction is a requirement and I have a strong client-facing attitude and work ethic - Identifying areas of improvement for clients which can bring project work to the greater team - Continued learning of AWS services as is relevant to current clients, or where I see a client’s environment may be improved - Minor DevOps tasks such as creating automation via lambda scripts to streamline work we do within AWSBegan my work at Virtusa supporting a jack-of-all-trades type off-hours support team, which lasted about 1.5 years and helped me acquire a wide range of technical knowledge. Following that, I took an interest in SQL, specifically Microsoft SQL as it was our main SQL management work. This led me to the SQL team itself where I learned and worked on projects and management for various SQL implementations for about 2 years. I began to want to transition working with cloud technology, specifically AWS – I requested for AWS beginner tasks to be assigned to me and eventually transitioned to being a full AWS team member at the end of 2019. I have developed my cloud abilities since and excelled in managing AWS deployments of web applications, migrations from on-prem, and Disaster Recovery solutions, as well as day to day management of complex AWS environments spanning multiple services.

Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technology issues experienced by internal customers, including continuous status reporting of open issues, working with non-technical users over the phone, at the desk side, on-site, via email, or via remote client to diagnose and resolve issues, setting up new users and changing permissions for promotions, demotions, etc. Project coordination during site deployments, health monitoring of servers, workstations, wireless devices, printers, network, etc., and asset tagging and organization of replacement equipment stocked for emergencies. Achievements in this position include:- Working well under pressure by remaining calm and focusing, especially when systems are down and a site cannot wash cars- Consistently being on call 24 x 7 x 365.- Traveling to sites outside the immediate area to handle emergency situations.- Deployed and set up 30+ servers across three states in less than three months, all after hours.
