My work here involves data analysis and reconciliations on large and complex financial, sales, product, and inventory data sets. Additionally, I have created deliverables that include summary analysis, risk factors, reports on variances, and key takeaways for future use. In this work, I've examined contracts and license agreements that discuss manufacturing, sales, royalty fees/schedules, intellectual property, territory and distribution restrictions, among other areas.Outside of my day to day activities, I'm also a part of the Black Employee Network as the lead Bay Area Delegate.

As Vice President, I assist in leading the only black undergraduate student organization of 30+ students that is annually growing at 20%. I also communicate between board members, general members, and across different student organizations for partnerships. In addition, I am responsible for the structuring and planning of events.

As a Student Assistant, I administer excellent customer service and consultation to about 60 students a day & assist them with any help needed such as logging on to computers or printing. I also maintain open communication with Center Supervisor, DAs, & ResComp staff. In addition, I implement security measures appropriately and report any suspicious activity. Lastly, I provide a safe and friendly work environment for users.

As a Financial Planning and Risk Analyst, I performed in-depth analysis on revenue and cost variances for four Departments and Districts and led them to be more efficient in cost. I analyzed their monthly financial statements such as Income Statements, Wage Distribution, Operating Expenses, Payroll, etc. In addition, I created a formula that estimates the cost of replacing any water main throughout California. The formula was sent to all District Managers and Operation Managers within the company. Furthermore, I initiated analytical arguments regarding the request for Cost of Equity for the company for the next three years. This is for the General Rate Case held every three years.

As the Executive Director of Finance, I oversee all financial transactions and manage an upwards of $15,000 a year. I provide a thorough budget analysis available to all board members and I communicate to the board weekly about our expenses. Lastly, I provide a positive social and professional environment while being conservative with costs.
