About Austin Baker

I was on the council of IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) for more years than I care to think about and was also a director of IPAF until health issues caused a change in my work regime. I have served as Chairman on PAIG (Powered Access Interest Group) and also chaired the IPAF Hirers Committee. I am passionate about the correct and safe use of powered access and its interaction within modern construction and all working at height. Also how we must all use our combined knowledge to change safety practices in all areas of work at height. This means hirer's, contractors, manufacturers, safety organisations and operators working in unison to reduce accidents. Responsible for the development of the Sanctuary Zone anti crushing device and other products within the WorkZone brand. Honored to have been awarded the IPAF Safety Champion of the Year Award.Specialties: Powered Access
