I would ensure accurate product placement on shelves according to the planograms, and ensure that my section of the store was properly zoned to allow guests to shop in a neat and tidy store. Additionally, I would regularly respond to "Guest First" calls where the front end management would ask for backup cashiers from the sales-floor team. I would ensure that guests were able to purchase their items quickly and help break the lines during rushes in the store. I was so quick and eager to respond to guests in need that I was recognized by the guest service Executive team leader (ETL) as the best at guest first response for the store. Show less

I would often perform intramuscular injections, take electrocardiograms (EKG's) and create molds for patients in need of custom orthotics, among other various tasks. In addition to the basic role described above, I would regularly work with the other soldiers and civilian nurses and providers to run various medical coverages, vaccine clinics and COVID testing sites to meet the mission goals from the Garrison command team, the Command and General Staff College (CGSC), Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) and Army University. We would work hard together to ensure the health and safety of soldiers training in Garrison by providing medical coverage for physical training events, competitions and live-fire ranges. Additionally, I would be an integral part of large scale COVID-19 testing events for soldiers traveling internationally, or testing soldiers and their families who had symptoms. My department would also have me working with the Immunizations clinic to set up remote COVID-19 vaccine clinics to support medical readiness for the garrison and the surrounding community. I was also a Red Cross Certified BLS instructor, and I would either teach or co-teach classes of 6-12 students. I would be in charge of teaching recertification classes for the health center, and I successfully conducted over 40 classes between August 2019 and April 2022. I would ensure my students had an in-depth understanding of rapid assessment, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, airway obstructions, and opioid overdoses, and how to treat patients presenting with those conditions within the scope of practice of a BLS provider.
